I bought a non working Wells Index mill with a Bandit control and want to use a PC to run it. I under stand that one of the Boss mills had a similar control, so I thought I would ask here first. The stepper motors are good but one of the driver/translators is bad. The cheapest way to get up and running would be to buy a drive and reuse the 2 good ones. The question is will a breakout board work with my Summit/Dana 8085 drivers. The wires to the drives are marked GRD, DIR, PULSE, and FREE. The manual comments are DIR (high/low) and PULSE (normally high (12v) low to step). Thanks for reading Bob |
