Has anyone looked into replacing the quill on a bridgeport with some type of cartridge type spindle that would accept cat type tooling? I would like to be able to set up an auto toolchanger, and with universal kwik switch tooling now I don't see an elegant solution. Plus, Rigid tapping would be great! Maybe I am just dreaming again but if anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Cutmore  |
