Have Recently Purchased An Ez Trak Dx 2 1998, Has Been Working Fine Until Yesterday When It Wouldnt Home Axis It Says Axis Drive Off On The Screen, Have Checked Stops And 3 Phase Supply But I Am New To Cnc So Any Help Appreciated |

| Check all cables - do pin continuity checks. Have you gone into the cabinet? Check to make cure that the quill is clean and doesn't stick (2.5D) - dirt on the spindle nose will not let the spindle "home". Do you have a schematic? Which axis is "off"? Look for LED's on the drives - advise. A 1998 machine has some hours on it - perhaps it is time to clean/reseat the drive cards on the PC. Ditto that for various connectors. Troubleshooting is/will be a process of elimination. If you're NOT comfortable messing with computers or industrial electronics/electrical stuff, call a good tech. If you have a schematic and can use a VOM, can understand relay and control logic, you can usually home in on the problem areas on these machines |

the 2 sets of leds are on on the boards but whe i unplug the green plug from the aux bob board the er led on the y axis board goes out and that axis starts to move very slowly, i saw that another member had this problem but not sure how they fixed it |

| I have had 2 of the DX II,s since there inception and the original one i bought had a cantilever Z axis drive design ,wich i have upgraded to the newer design. Wich axis is faulting and if its the Z axis.What design do you have? |
