How does the heidenhain 151 determine if dc voltage is present ?

Does anuone KNOW how the heidenhain 151 control determines if there is dc voltage available ? Is there a specific line into the control for this ? and is it connected to a vm inside the control ? Is it possible that my machine does NOT have missing dc voltage but the control is simply not capable of reading it ?.....Ideas

The connections are shown in the attached PDF.This is for a 151 B/Q,if yours is a 151 A/P you will have to go to the Heidenhain site and download the proper manual.
Page 21 tells the terminal numbers for 24v at the control unit.

A fault in the control would usually show up in the self test before you get to this stage.

Thanks Mark.....Mine is the 151b....and I have the terminal chart for it.....I suspect you are correct and I hope the fault is in the EMO string...I just cant find it yet.......how many things does this darn control check before it will turn on anyway...? limits switches........oil level.....???? what else ????

not one that I can read....a few have offered up some but they are of such poor quality that I can not see the wire or terminal numbers

I have a couple TNC151 schematics, one i think is for 151A and i know the other is for the 151B. The files are to large to post here so i will need your email address. Hope they help !!
