Hello, wondering if anyone has any 394al/cl IC chips laying around or if anyone knows of an alternate? seems as though mine is gone and not allowing proper spindle control when pin K is grounded. As well my SCR is gone so i've got that part but.............

This is the same pic I e-mailed you. It is a NOR gate but it has a bastard pin out compared to a 7402.

One way around it would be to send wire K to pin 3 of the IC. Check that R1 and R9 are close in resistance value and change the active HIGH/LOW setting in Mach 3 for that output.

I didn't read your email until i had already got a fix going. I used a 2N7000 transistor between legs 3 & 4 of IC1 and powered gate via D1
