Retrofit kits for Boss 6

I have two machines a Boss 5 and a Boss 6. The Boss 5 is still working very well with the odd transistor blowing now and again. The reason for this post I'm thinking of a possible retrofit on the Boss 6 as the machine seems to have many small problems and remains unused. Due to the lack of hours in the day I thought of a the retrofit. I've looked at the Centroid website and the fit looks good. However I'm in the UK, anybody know of any other retrofits, as it would be good to get both running at the same time.

Hello Dave if you are looking at the centroid retrofit kits also have alook at the AJAX CNC site this is the do it yourself version of the Centroid, I have a Boss 5 machine converted with an AJAX system I have had it installed for about the last 4 years and I use it for Hobby work and small batch runs on machine parts it has been very reliable accurate and basically easy to program. The downside of the system is you need to take a look at what facilities you need from the control as some of the useful one's such as programable speed control, engraving, MPG control, are all extra's but on the whole it is a very good system and easy to retrofit.
