| Just got a Bridgeport/Textron series 1 with BOSS control. I don't know anything about CNC, i've been reading a lot of Damae's posts. Not sure if the unit is operational but sure is pretty! Would really appreciate any info on hooking into the RS232 plug and running off Mach 3 software! Regards Doug |

| Hi You can use the RS232 port for transferring programs in to the machine but it can't be used to run the machine of Mach3, to do this you have to wire the drive signal wires to a breakout board and from here into the back of your computer, HillBilly sells a breakout board and instructions on how to do this. | Thanks for the info guys. i've tried pretty much everything, Chris sent me some good bulletins which i went over. Still no avail. I pulled the ERS board out and noticed two empty sockets marked TP1 & TP2 anyone familiar with these? |
