Hi, I am new at this and looking for some help. I am having a prob getting a .120 radius looking right. Its close enough, but I would still like to get it right. I am still messing with it, but here is what i have now: stock dia is 1.75 rapid abs x1.85 z-.120 line abs x1.75z-.120 arc radius abs cw x1.51 z0. r.120 f.007 line abs x-.05 z0. For starters, is this a correct way of turning the radius? Is it better to cut towards or away from the chuck? Also, if i change my r to .15 , the z to z-.150 and x1.51 to x1.45, the .120 r looks looks fine. I thought that this might be due to the tool nose radius, but it is set correctly (1/32) in the library. Any help will be much appreciated. Last edited by bink; 08-09-2007 at 04:45 PM. |
