I have the Boss with the NMTB 30 Q/C, and I just noticed a couple of my holders have a little play when the nut is tightened. That explains why I have broken about a dozen .030 endmills lately. How is this slop adjusted out? Scott

| Refer to your maintenance manual. Procedure is in there. One of those screws on the side of your nut is longer than the rest and limits rotation of the nut. This needs to be backed out and the nut needs to be tightened more, and the screw put back in. Or you can get a power draw bar and get rid of the nut. (if you have a through hole through your spindle. Then variations in the tool holders does not matter. George

| I knew I'd hear from you, thanks George. I was trying to get the screw out, but actually quit and thought I'd post the question here since I couldnt get it out...thought it may have been something permanent. Im on way way back to the shop, so thanks again.
