Bp Series Ii Boss 6 Sucess! | |
I have finally made some headway on my series II boss 6.
My whole problem was the ufb board .By this I mean the board with the display/switches and pushbuttons.
I had an extra that i had purchased with a complete set of extra boards.
When I took the old one out one of the plugs either came unplugged then or was jolted loose when I brought the machine home.
Either way it now shows movement on all axis and will run the z axis just fine.
The next problem is that the z axis stepper motor will only chatter when attempting any movement,the y axis will do nothing and that motor is not even locked(energized) when it should be.
These problems I hope are straight forward compared to what I have been through so far.
Also I need to find a spindle on/off switch to replace the one some put in my machine.
Time now to learn the Boss system.
