Hi all, I have a bridgeport vmc1000II 3 axis mill with fanuc control. Whilst dnc controlling it this evening it stopped operating. After I reset it I get a p/s error 224 when I attempt to run any code. I cant even do a m06 via vmi - error 224 comes up which after a few minutes is followed by a m06 time out alarm. Does anyone have any ideas??? As usual this has happened as I am doing a rush job!!!!! Pete |

| Look in the FANUC maintenance manual. It has an alarm list. Or call FANUC. They are very helpful. George

| Hi, Thanks for the answer. Checked that but the Fanuc manual goes up to 128 then starts again at 300 so I think the fault must be Hardinge specific. However I started the machine again this morning and the fault is now clear. Any more ideas? Pete |

| Some faults associated with the drives are fatal and require a power off. Some may be thermal. Thus a cool down could get you going again. When I get a few minutes at the office, I will do some digging. Also , try not shutting your machine off and looking at the fanuc units for an alarm code. George
