Hello, I too have just purchased a BP Series 1 Boss 5. I am using Tera Term (dos version) software to edit and transfer my programs. The machine runs great! Occasionally, when transferring the programs, the editor seems to drop a character or two. Mainly its the (N) character starting off the line. Example; N10 X1.500Y1.500F80 Everything will transfer except the (N). Has anyone run across this problem? |

| I am sorry that I cannot answer your question, but I was wondering if you could answer some of mine? I just purchased a Bridgeport Series II CNC Machine with Boss 6 RS232 setup and whos to forget the tape deck. I am picking it up next weekend and bringing it home.. I am really hoping to get myself all set up with the software and PC that I need to upload programs into the machine. What kind of software, PC, and operating system are you using? |
