| Bolt On Quill Drive Unit Hi All, I'm after a bolt on quill drive unit that uses the depth stop for direct mounting of the ball nut. I know of units that are available for purchase, but, all of the companies I have found so far will only sell it to me with a full retrofit and not on its own. As my businness is retrofitting with our own controllers and drives this is not an option, so if anyone knows of a company who will sell me one seperately I would greatly appreciate the help.

I just went out and got some 6061 for the motor mounts and this is the LAST thing I need!! Once I get the next order out I've set aside a few weeks to do the install and in the meantime I have all of the brilliant parts you've supplied to drool over!! I printed out all of the manuals and put them into binders so I have reading material for the nights between now and the install. Many thanks go to you and Pete for making all of this happen. |

| Thanks for the kind words IJ, Keep us updated on the zone, you may like to take some pics during the process. A CNC conversion is like a pregnancy, first you have the morning sickness (trying to work out how the hell you are going to tackle it and finding parts) then you have your pockets emptied buying all of the things for the baby, then as things start coming in you find yourself awake all night thinking about it and going to the toilet all the time, then there is the long labour as you push to get everything fitted up right, then there is the final moment when the last push comes and you press the on button, things fire up and your baby starts screaming from one end of the table to the other, and a tear rolls down your cheek. LOL
