Reduce your gain.

Any time I see an oscillation of an axis motor it has been a bad tach loop. This may be the tach on the motor, connectors, cable, or axis drive.

If you connected any other axis motor to that drive, tested, and the problem is still there => it is the drive.

thank you kreutz

thank you for the suggestion, that test already made it and the problem moved at other axis so i think the drive is the problem, now i need to know if the drive can still be calibrate or if its damaged.

I don't think it is a calibration issue, you can probably contact the manufacturer for guidance. It seems like an encoder interface problem.

Are they the older Westamp drives? like these http://cnczone.com/forums/showthread...hlight=westamp
I usually replace these with modern AMC versions.

If you determine it is actually the drive, I have some tested good spares. Wil have to check the numbers, but look the same. Check what they cost to repair, I'm sure I'll sell one cheaper
