Index of Milling Machines

Has anyone ever found a website with what might approach a comprehensive list and description of milling machines? This is a tall order, and for that very reason I'm looking for one. I'm in the market for a used mill, but I find that I keep turning up more and more models that I don't know the spec's on (read "more and more" as "99%"). If you're looking on ebay, many of the sellers don't provide a detailed descriptions... And as much as I enjoy it, I spend a LOT of time googling the various models then getting distracted by whatever other machines are at the site...

It has loads of information on old lathes and alot of info on some of the older milling machines.

The Bridgeport BOSS series has caught my eye, does anyone know where an explanation of that line and all the models/options that were produced could be found?
