Has anyone out there converted there knee feed on a bridgeport interact 1 mk2 to a fourth axis my control is heidenhain 2500 and has provisions for 4th axis.I know this is usually reserved for a rotary axis but i have to ask the question as i need extra travel and dont have enough in z axis.I wasnt planning on converting to ball screws at present as the accuracy is not extremely important. Thanks for any help greg b |
