Hello to all
i can run my cnc miller (bridgeport mk2 with control tnc 151b) thanks to this forum, but still need one thing more, mi electronic handwheel can't work and apparently dont have any damage, i believe that there is a parameter 171 but already attempt with 0 and 1, which is the correct one? plus i dont know if its connected well, in my machine this connected one in a place different to the manual. i attach 2 photos.

re

Yours is also correct, although very different from my 151, I don't have that connector at all! Look in other places in the manual and you will see this connection style.

there are also 2 and 3 as options for that parameter

re

download the full tech manual from heidenhain.com

I am not quite sure, perhaps machinetek knows , has to do with 2 different handwheels and two different something else, dunno what the something else is

shouldn't hurt anything by changing, just more not working

Parameter 171

There are four possible values for parameter 171 which select which hand wheel and touch probe system is connected:

0 = HR150 or HR250 and TS510
1 = HE310 and TS510
2 = HR150 or HR250 and TS110
3 = HE310 and TS110

TS110 is a cable connected touch probe
TS510 is optically connected to a remote unit that then is cable connected

So you need to decide which handwheel you have and select for it. I think the fact that the touch probe is not connected is irrelevent to this parameter
