I just bought a interact 4 with the intention to retro it to a centroid system so that it is the same as my series 1 interact.
What im selling.....
in one auction im going to list the KTK DC spindle drive and MTI card.
in the 2nd auction i will be selling the Heidenhain TNC 2500 control with a nice bright orange monitor,3 bosch servo drives, servo drive chokes and the power supplies for the control,. I took the whole control box unit off of the arm. I didnt strip anything off of it. I am keeping the SEM servos for my new control to save money.
This would be great for someone that has an machine with the TNC 2500 control so they can keep theirs running on the cheap. If you have one of these have you guys ever priced a monitor or a servo drive or repairs to the TNC? I think you will be shocked how much it costs to keep a heidenhain system running.
This control system would also be good for someone that wants to put cnc on a manual machine or maybe upgrade from there really old control.
I tested the machine before i bought it and powered it up after i brought it home. Everything worked great on it. That was really why i bought it because the machine had very low hours on it and i knew i could get some money out of the old stuff to pay for part of my retro.
I sold a TNC 151 control on ebay about a year ago for $1500
I am going to set the reserve on the KTK and MTI auction at 500 and the reserve for the TNC control at 900
If anyone wants these parts let me know today before i put them on ebay. I will sell you the KTK and MTI combo for 600 and the TNC control setup for 1000. Those prices are right when you look at what this stuff costs to buy new or get repaired. If you have a KTK drive and it breaks you are pretty much screwed.
