hey george you seem to know bridgeports backwards is it unusual for a interact 1 mark 2 to make a hollow sort of growling noise in the z axis as it moves up or down at max feed if i didnt know better i would say it was a noisy bearing in the z feed motor or spindel pullies .I have not had this machine for long so i dont know how it should sound i was going to pull it apart to see if there is a problem but i dont want to fiddle with it unless i have to because it is running great.The controll is a 2500 but i dont think that should make a differance .Thankyou greg b
