Is this the first time you are hooking it up?
If the input voltage was different before, you will have to move wires on the main transformer and the samaller one feeding 110 to the computer.
Hope this helps.

I have a boss 5. Not quite the same. Have a close look at the transformers. they may say what the output is as its wired. If the voltage is to high you may have to move some wires.

Then again it may be a total different problem.

I started out like somewhat like you machine didnt work. I got mine working but am about to convert it to a PC contol, much easier to use.

Good luck
Stephen

When I first got my BOSS 5, My Z axis would stall on rapids and the motor just sits there and sing until the command is stopped. What I have to do is open up the front cover and shoot WD40 in there to help clean out all of the old lube and gunk that has built up over the years. I extend the quill and spray that as well. Keep driving the Z up and down and sparying WD40 or your favorite cleaner until you can rapid without stalling. Make sure you splash on some waylube after you spary the WD40. You don't want to be running the quill up and down without lube.

When you do get things running check to make sure all oil points are getting oil. My boss 5 had a few that the meters were pluged and were getting no oil.
Good to see you got the thing doing something.

BTW: The 007 error usually means a halted LSI-11 board (the mother board). Make sure logic power is accurate, and try cleaning the edge connector.
