Hi guys, I just picked up a bridgeport 9x42" knee mill. I would like to upgrade it to a Prototrak 2 axis setup but I don't want to spend 10-12 grand. Are there some alternatives? Thanks, Mike |

| There are several retrofits of mill threads on the 'Zone. A very popular method involves the use of Mach 2 or 3. There may be a servo retrofit that has been done but steppers appear to be more popular/convenient/realistic. The following may be of assistance to stimulate your though processes: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17419 |
