Everything seems straight forward except servo drive choices. The stock current drivers are NC400 units with 30 Amp capability. The factory Power Supply puts out 100 Volts DC and I would like to reuse this in my conversion. 100V @ 30A is more than a Gecko drive can handle. I looked at Rutex, there inventory seems to be low, makes me a little nervous. They have a board (R991H) that looks like it will take step/dir and the encoders and put out a +-10V signal to the stock NC400 Current Amps. Anybody use these? How about the R90H? Any other low cost servo drives out there? I am an electrical engineer (and a technition before that), so I "Aint Sceered" to try ideas. I also need the encoder pinout, they have 10 pins (5 twisted pairs, all the same color in the cable). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, TurboStew |
