Bridgeport Series II R2E4 tech needed

We have a Bridgeport Series II R2E4 milling machine.

The fork lift driver ran over our communication cable between the mill and the computer.

We repaired the cable, but are unable to communicate with the machine.

We believe that some part of the communication board may have gotten spiked.

We have checked the computer, checked the cable, and even tried a different computer, but with no success.

Can anyone recommend a tech that could help us get up and running again?

Contact Brian Terlecki at BPT Machines in Carol Stream Illinois 630-784-9942.

His guys travel a multi-state area in and around Illinois. Reputable and GOOD. He serviced my personal machine.

A board member/contributor "Machintek" can be contacted via e-mail - the company he works for serves the Southeat USA. Can be found via a member search on the website. Also very good and reputable.

Both should hopefully not charge you double if you mention my name as a referral.
