What brand(s) of servo amps were used on the Bridgeport VMC's? Of specific interest are the ones used on the 800's and 1000's as well as the Torq Cuts? Were any DC models used or were they all AC type??? While I'm at it, does anyone have a PDF of the wiring schematic for the Torq Cut machine(s) that they can send??? Thanks.... |

| How far back do you want to go? The 720 used FANUC drives (yellow covers). ALL 800 and 1000 used Siemens AC drives. ALL TC22 and TC30 used DC drives with Yaskawa AC spindle drive. TC 1 through 4 used Yaskawa AC drives. Check EMAIL for TC22 wiring. George

| Thanks George. As usual, you're THE MAN when it comes to BPT stuff.. How far back? That depends what you're looking for to do. In this case, the info is quite adequate. The TC's used the DX-32 system, right? My BMDC research chart says 'yes' but just confirming. For reasons that you'd already know, the TC22 would have specific interest to my needs/interest - I only hope the TC's used/had a 4th axis option - again for reasons that you'd already be understanding of. No sign of anything in the Email, not yet anyway.... |
