Has there been any threads or webites that document rebuilding a bridgeport with good pics? Or if there isn's pics, something that's well written and clear on what is being done. I'm more mainly talking about rebuilding the ways/table/screws. The main reason I ask is that I haven't found a machinery repair place around in my area (south east FL) and if I pick up an old machine, I'd like to get it nice and square and tight. I know nothing about how to scrape and I feel it'd probably way beyond my scope. Is rescraping always necessary to recondition the machine? Any input is appreciated. Thanks |
