I just purchased a Series 1 Interact 1 with Heidenhain T151 controls and the cabinet says it is wired for 208v. I have the original tag that came with the machine that tells which wires to change on the three transformers to wire it for 220v, etc. My question is: the motor says it is a 208v/416v motor with no wiring option in it for 220v. So, when you change the wires on the transformers in the electronics cabinet for 220v input, does that accomodate the motor power as well, or does the motor make the machine good for 208v only? Thanks! -Ryan |

| The Interacts were made in the UK. Their voltage is a bit different but, the US version were 220/460. The 220 was good for 208 through 240. Therefore I would leave it as is and not worry. George

| The TNC control would hesitate between lines BUT it was extremely reliable and Heidenhain will still fix it. I would be more concerned about the BOSCH drives. I do not know of anywhere that you could send one for repair. The R2E3 is faster thinking but far less reliable. George

| It's worth bearing in mind Heidenhain wont sell you any spare parts and nor will their component suppliers. The best they will offer you is a complete service for £1,800 which covers everything except the monitor. I also am unsure of where you could get the bosch drives repaired, but I have been told by numerous people that they are very good and rarely fail.
