| I have an older BP clone ( Webb) that we tracked the "chuckle" down to the plastic/nylon bushings in the large plates for the speed control. I got tired of replacing the bushings ,made bushings out of alum-bronze,no more noise, the bushings have been in at least 12 years. After compleating my Tree CNC conversion ,don't seem to use the Webb as much,but still a nice quite mill. Adobe (old as dirt) |
