I am cleaning up the Boss 6 I recently purchased, and was inspecting the lube lines. I can not believe how small the I.D. is on the 5/32" diameter nylon tubes. It measures approximately 1/32". Has anybody found a good replacement for this type of tubing? I did find some 5/32" O.D. nylon tubing that has a .106 I.D.; which I would think would be less-prone to clogging. Anybody know what the normal operating pressure is for the Bijur pump that came on these machines? How about a source for the odd metering fittings? Thanks, Wayne |

| I bought mine from MSC. They carry Trico. I tried to go cheap on the tubing, and nothing worked, so I ended up spending more money in the end and bought the real stuff like I should have in the first place. |

| Well, I am planning to remove all the metering fittings and clean them this weekend while I have the head apart. I have a couple pieces of the nylon tubing that I need to replace. I had actually found EMRICK Machinery prior to posting this thread, but their site did not have any tubing listed. I noticed that H&W also sells the the small ferrules and nuts separately, so I can still use the original body when I replace the few pieces of tubing that are damaged. On a side note, do either of you have a wiring diagram for the Bijur pump? Mine has (4) wires coming from it. I am guessing (2) are for a fluid level sensor and (2) are pump power?? Any ideas as to what colors do what? Thanks again, Wayne |

| Hey Hood, No worry about the wires. I figured it out. (2) wires are for the level sensor; which I eliminated. The other (2) wires connect directly to 110V. I also ordered all the replacement stuff from H & W. As for cleaning the metering fittings, I used Castrol Super Clean (industrial grade purple stuff). It is amazing how it eats the oil / gunk off. My Bijur set-up looks like new now (minus some paint on the outside). I hope to finish up the lubrication system this weekend. Did you get a chance to take the head apart on yours yet?? |

| Ahhhhhhhhhhhh sorry I clean forgot to look at the pump wiring, at least you have it sorted now. No not had a chance to haul the head apart yet, was about to do it last night but had a few small jobs to do so never made it. Supposed to be pouring rain tomorrow so if it is I wont be able to continue the job I am working on at the moment (repair to slipway cradle), and might have time. Will let you know what I find.
