the auction must have ended it was on there last thursday when i was looking for stuff for the machine, it was at 1400 with no reserve nobody had bid on it yet. if you come across an extra RRS board let me know

Are you close to mairyland I found one in a Ebay store there? I will try to call someone tomarrow that might give up a extra board for a test did you elemanate the PC as a proublem? What part of the country are you in I thought that was a requirement in BTC Clubhousee By laws to disclose your location still working on the twelve step's LOL Good Luck Kevin

im in southern california, i performed a loop back test on the pc serial port and the port was communicating. if you can find another board let me know.

That BTC has been on Ebay for probably the last month. I think it was at $1600 for a couple of weeks with no bids then $1400, now Buy it now for $1450. I have been watching it for at least that long.

JonP still hassent conctacted me, in he mean time i though i might as well try replaceing the two missing IC chips, can any body get me a part number for IC52 and IC36 on the RRS board?

i hope sombody out there still makes them

I think you should be looking elsewhere, like others suggested.

as stated below the chips that are missing are on other peoples boards, i dont know if oleg took them off or not or the machine was never shipped with them ETC... but they are gone and other people have them. to me it seems worth it to give that a shot befor sending the board out to sombody to give it a once over.

i have tested everything else and the board is the only thing i can think of at this point, if anyone can come up with anything other then a cable or my computer i'll give it a shot.


BTW: 302xram i appreciate the fact that your communicating with me, most people i know when they sell something they never want to hear about it again, let alone problems with it.

Hi guys, I'm here, been very busy lately so I haven't been here too much ,any how I'll be glad to help if I can. I'm fairly familiar with the RRS board, if you are having trouble communicating it might be a UART ,I can also replace the ram if necessary and burn new EPROM if needed. There are two empty sockets with the latest version of BOSS, i'd have to look at my notes but I think it is baseline 3, level 4 if memory serves me right. Good luck Jon P.
