serial port communication for a V2XT

Hello,

I got a post "boss10 MasterCam" for my Bridgeport V2XT but am unable to transfer the code from my PC to the Bridgeport via the serial cable.

Do I needed a special transfer program?
Do I need a crossover cable?

Is there a document or manual that covers this process?

I never did anything with Mastercam.

You should try two or three things.

1) Go to www.aggsoft.com There you will find a number of machine and PC parameters along with cable diagrams for the machine.

2) You have to determine if your machine uses hardware handshaking or software handshaking.

3) for transfer of progams i will suggest easydncXP software. You will find a one month free evaluation copy on the net.
