| I have a Boss 6. I am trying to locate a part number for the small electonic device that is soldered to the transistors fitted to the Black Aliminium Heat Sinks. There is one of these devices fitted between each leg of the transistors. Does anybody know what they are.?? Thanks Dave. |

| Are you talking about the drive transistors that are attached to the inside of the rear small door? If so they may be diodes. Hears a link of a pick and how to test the drive transistors. Is this what you are talking about. http://24.172.209.26/shop/BOSS%204%2...%20repairs.doc |

| I believe they are 1N357A diodes. But I will check when I get to the office. If you have the manual I know they are in a parts list toward the back of the manual. George

I will check the manual George. The link supplied by [ sdeering ] on the Z Axis picture you can just see the small devices that are soldered between the two transistor poles. Thank you both for the information. Cheers Dave Last edited by DaveinUK; 01-17-2006 at 06:23 AM. Reason: Add link |
