I'm looking for a Bridgeport series 2. This seems to be the holy grail for the do it yourselfer. I worked as a cnc machinist for a number of years and realize how good of a machine this is. I'd like a machine that needs some work, I'm keen to use a pc based controller. Just curious about prices. I'm in Windsor Canada just across the river from Detroit so I guess the midwest would be the area I'd be looking in. I've seen in my research $75 to $1600. Are these prices typical for a fixer upper or amazing finds. I'm looking for a machine to retrofit to cnc for my classroom. I'm a machine shop teacher and it would be a great teaching aid. Thanks
