Hello, Looking For Help. Tools Are Loose In The Spindle. Tool Change Works Fine. This Machine Is In Great Shape Except For This Problem. I Have The Manual But There Is Nothing About This Issue. Any Help Would Be Appreciated Thanks, Transatool |

Some one has ran the spindle without a toolholder in the quill and the quill all the way up, retracted, the drawbar retention nut rubs in the pot on top and loosens. Remove the quill and tighten the nut, its a little tricky to get perfect but there is a page in the maint. manual on it. Its been a while since it hapened to us so I don't remember the exact details but get ahold of me if you need help, good luck, Jon P |

| There is an additional possibility that you have some broken spring washers inside the spindle. These apply about 1500 pounds of force on the drawbar. Again, see the manual cross sectional view of the spindle. George
