Question Relay ext-dc volatage missing hh 151a stuck

    Hello,
Ive got Bridgeport Series I Interact with Heidenhein 151a

"Relay ext-dc volatage missing" error poped and machine isnt responding.

In one topic, (cant link coz no posts) Gus suggested to check "emo string" but ive got no idea what is that, could you explain? I spent a lot of time to figure it out but there is very little information on the internet.

I checked the psu and its ok.

Any tips for fixing that? How do i chceck the emo string?
    Help much appreciated
    Thanks

Not sure on the 151, but on some Heidenhain there is two 24vdc P.S. for the PLC, one for memory and one for I/O.

If you turn the machine on with the emergency stop button in, you will get this alarm.
Otherwise it may be a bad power supply as mentioned. Look for a silver box about 5 by 4 by 1 inch in size. Older machines had a bread broarded 24 V power supplies. Your control has 110 V going to it. Later models had a second 24VDC power supply for the control (TNC2500). where is it? Send us a picture and we can point it out. Should have 220 VAC going in (red wires single phase) and blue wires for the output. Looking at your wiring diagram, the wire numbers should identify it.

    Hi again,
In the meantime i managed to get machine responding in manual mode by pressing CE button while machine was booting. You can see whats the problem on the movie.

what does the control say when in does not respond? If I see correctly it responds to the handwheel in all axis at least for a while.

    is it a positioning error?

After turning machine on, for short period of time machine shows error "Relay ext-dc volatage missing" then it switch to setting reference coordinates mode. I can switch to manual mode and move in all axis using handwheel, until I use joystick.
    For example:
    1. Machine just started and handwheel works.
    2. I use joystick to shift x+
    3. From now on i can use joystick to shift only in x+ but x- shift isnt working (rest are fine for now) and handwheel has stopped working in x axis but still works with y and z
    4. I use joystick to shift y-
    5. From now on i can use joystick to shift only in x+ and y- but x- and y+ shifts arent working (z is ok) and handwheel isnt working in x ans y axis but still works with z
    6. With z axis there is a little difference if i shift to z+ i can shift to z- but from now on I cant use z+ again (z- locks z+ but not otherwise)
    7. Pushing and pulling emergency button takes me to point 1

If i used joystick to shift x+ at begining, from now on I cant shift x axis using handwheel, but y and z work until i use joystick on it.

If i try to switch tnc to cycle mode tnc stops reponding

Gus: Theres no error message after any of axis has stopped responding.

Thats all ive observed, described as best as I can and my language allows me to
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
My Bridgeport Interact II with a TNC 151 control gives this error reading if there is not sufficient slide oil in the resevoir on the back of the machine.

    Hope this helps.
