Hi,
Couple of questions for my fellow bridgeport owners. I can increase my spindle speed with the manual switch, the air controlled switch/lever/button thing, but I can't reduce the speed. When I try to slow it down I just get a hiss and no speed reduction. Any ideas? Stuck disk maybe?

Also, and I think this is unrelated, but low speed is noisy. I get a bell like sound from the top of the machine when machining in low gear.

Any ideas are helpful. I have other problems with this machine but I'll put them in another thread.
