What are some best practices for cleaning out (daily) a VMC? I have seen some machines with a hose that runs off the coolant pump to wash down the way covers and table. Has anyone added one of these to their machine?

Right now we are just vacuuming with a shop-vac and wiping down.

What do you guys use to protect the table and way covers? I have seen the use of LPS3 but I have also heard that you need a heavy-duty degreaser to remove the buildup of it.

I am writing a PM plan for our mills and just want to make it easy for they guys to do the work, that way it gets done.
