    Bridgeport Interact 308 problem

I've been having problem with my machine dropping tool during tool changes. the program will call out an M06 and the spindle will unclamp the tool before it homes to the tool changer height. I was wondering if anybody had dealt with this problem before or might have an idea what is causing it to happen.

The switch indicating to the control that the tool changer is forward is what triggers the tool release. Maybe this switch is bad. Otherwise, I would be reloading the software.
