    FIST communication problem R2E3

Well after hooking up the FIST cable to K3 on FMDC and with John's help figuring out the comm FIFO and Baud rates, at least it is readable info coming up on TeraTerm, but I still can't get any info other than what I posted below in wrong forum...

This is what it comes up with after the usual Bridgeport 1983....blah, blah, blah

after the line type "H" for help it shows this

    !06B0 !05AC
    !126E
    !0DAC

Due to a more recent post, I can assume fist is readable? I use a DOS version of PROCOMM. Believe it is closely related to what you are using.
For anyone else searching, would you like to post the solution to your particular difficulty?

    Hi George

Yes the FIST is working now. John B has helped me by looking at his cabling at the K3 end.

The issue was DB9 pin 5 to K3 pin 2, I had it going to K3 Pin 9
Other pinouts are DB9 pin 1 to K3 pin 3,
    DB9 pin 2 to K3 pin 3

    Thanks for everyones continued help!!
