SX means it boots from a floppy and is very old. So how long have you had it, did it ever run, and what is no longer original? What source of power are you using?

Hi guys
The scales will read if the machine is moved manually, though, when attempting to home the drives, the machine does nothing - no error, no movement. I'll have to take another listen to see if the servo transformers are powering on...
Though one thing unusual I DID notice, was that LED D10 on the controller board is blinking - at about 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off... (Gotta look through some doc's to find what that light indicates..)
I haven't yet really dug into it; anyone of an idea of what to check for?

Thanks for the reply George
Thte machine has been in-use since it was purchased in '92. It does run off a fixed-disk, and the software starts up just fine. It's been PM'd annually, and up until recently (to my knowledge) had been running just fine.
It still functions in manual mode just well; and while I myself am trying to find more detail from the owner, I'll try my best to relay what he's told me along with what I had seen...
One thing I DON'T hear when attempting to home the drives, are the servos energizing - so it's lead me to believe that the motion control-board may not be working correctly? Again, LED D10 is blinking, where I haven't noticed this on any other EZ-Crash machines.
thanks again!
** Edit - By OWNER, I mean the guy whom operates the machine, here at work... it's not so much as 'owned' by him, as it is having been 'run' only by him... he seems familiar with any squeek and abnormal whril the machine may make, however, he's very non-computer / electronics saavy, short of being able to operate the control itself.
