    EZ Trak pausing at transitions?

Recently our eztrak series 2 SX had a motherboard and HD failure and we bought the upgrade kit from EMI. Installed and everything is back up and running with one issue.
I programmed a simple oval shape to see if everything was okay, and noticed that at all the transitions from one program line to another the machine pauses for a few milliseconds. While this doesn't prevent us from using the machine there are tool marks that will be left.
I should point out that it's not really the "program", but the transition to the next move. I say this because even when it starts to ramp on or off the part it pauses as well.

Thanks for all the assistance so far guys in helping me get back up and running!!

My 'trak does this too if the feed rate is over 20IPM. I figured it was just a limitation of the controller; such that with higher feed rates all programmed moves start and end at 0 speed so the controller doesn't have to figure out whether to slow down before the next move (next move is not tangent) or not (the next move is tangent). It would be nice to know if this is some sort of configurable value.

Interesting, I was testing at 30ipm or there about. I'll have to recheck this.
