I have a V2XT with the DX32 control. I have had issues through the years with it and have pretty much been able to keep it going. I have replaced all the PC stuff a few times and have lots of spares. The problem I have now is killing me. This summer it started getting flakey on the loading BMDC part of the boot up. It would say "loading cnc" on the monitor and them time out. The PC part of it worked fine. I sent the BMDC board to Nyco for repair. They evaluated it, said they could fix it and had to order a part. 4 months later I get the board back. I think I sent a BMDC3 board. I got a BMDC3 back, but I think it came back with a daughter card. I dont think it had one to start with, but its been 4 months. Oh well, I put it in and it still times out on the "loading CNC" part, same as before. ANY idea what I need to do at this point. I am almost ready for a retrofit if I can't get it going soon. I have looked at the MachMotion stuff and it looks pretty good. IF anyone has a suggestion on how to get this thing going, Please let me know. I am an engineer and have the wiring diagram and a pretty good understanding, but am at a loss here. Thanks in advance. Jerry |
