Hello ... I'm programming my Bridgeport Interact w/ Heidenhain 151B in ISO. Going through the Heidenhain manual, I see that tool definitions are given in the program with a G99 command ... no problem there. However, i would like to define my tooling outside of the program. Can I do this? For instance, earlier in the Heidenhain manual it mentions a "central tool memory" on page P14 (Heidenhain 151B & Q Operator's Manual); however, when I follow the directions (specifically hit the "edit program" button and then "TOOL DEF" botton) it says that the key is not valid. I assume its because I'm in ISO mode ... is this correct? If so, is there a way to define tools other than in a program ... in the controller's "central tool memory"? Many thanks! |
