    used bridgeport

    what kind of money can I expect to spend???

    for an older Bridgeport(or) that I can kit into a cnc...nothing fancy but very usable..????

    If you are looking for CNC then start with a machine meant for it, you will be glad you did. I'd recommend a series 1 BOSS machine. Thats what I have and love it. There was one in working condition for $500 on ebay a few weeks back. Doesn't seem there are any on there now. You have to be quick about it to get the good deals.
