Hello, having trouble with our 720X with Heidenhain TNC2500 control. On tool change, spindle nose doesn't hold it's orientation rotating about 5 degrees backwards and forwards (kind of quivering) as the tool changer comes in. Sometimes the movement is more extreme - enough to smash the sprung fingers (ouch!). Putting in an M19 orientates the spindle fine but as soon as the tool changer comes forward it starts moving again. Our regular service engineer has worked on interacts for donkeys years and he couldn't figure it out. Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas what might be going on? Thanks in anticipation, Chris |
