Need Help!- DX-32 Controller - TC Problem!

I am new to the DX-32 controller as I am trying to test a tool change but when I try to orient the tool-changer (TC) on my 1999 BP VMC1000 DX-32, I get a message in the DX-32 control stating "--> Orienting tool changer, please wait..." but the controller never returns for me position the carousel and Z-axis!

I can see the Z-axis moving down tot he correct position, and orienting the spindle, but then the controller just sits there stuck with the above message until I have to engage the emergency switch - anyone experience this before?

You can change the orient as well as tool change height in the tool changer menu.
The password is PASSWORD in capitol letters. Press 1 to start the setup. It should move to tool change position and orient. You use the jog + key to bump the tool changer forward to see how it goes on the tool. and adjust the height and orient from there and save it. Press the appropriate key and use the handwheel to move it.

My problem seems to be that when I start orienting the tool, the control says "WAIT --> Orienting S axis..." but then it just stays stuck there! I do see the spindle come down and then turn to orient itself and it just waits.... I am suppose to see the next message where is asks me to use "+/- to move the carousel" but because my screen is stuck on "WAIT --> Orienting S axis...", I cant go to the next step. Only the EStop button forces to break out of this.

Any thoughts?
