On the Bridgeport Torq-Cut 22 we just bought, the CMOS battery was dead and the hard drive settings were therefore lost in the BIOS. We replaced the CMOS battery but we still have the issue with the hard drive. We looked up the specs of the hard drive and entered them in but it still wouldn't take them. I also read that some older motherboards will not accept a larger hard drive so we're wondering if that's the case here as well. Our hard drive is a Quantum Fireball ST 1.6AT (1.6Gb). Does someone have the same hard drive? If so, can you let me know what settings you have in the BIOS so we can try them? Thanks! |
