Need Help!- 3 axis eztrak

I believe it is possible to dnc to this machine, does anyone know how, all I can get is how to save file to C drive. I want to run program from cad/cam editor.

I know that the 3 axis trak has that capability. I remember seeing a DNC key, I believe under the run menu. Check your operating manual.

The DNC optiopn is in main menu "4" but then gives 2 options -save? and open macros - could that be the line to take?

One of the most important things is to get the program into the machine's "C:> Drive". There are many versions of the "Crive" throughout Bridgeport's history. There are actual physical hard drives, Disk on Chips (Max space 8Mb), Flash Disk Cards (8Mb) and currently Disk on Modules. The floppy drive does not run as fast as any of the various C: drives and because of the slow read/write time DNC will get hung up. Always copy your program first from floppy to HD, then DNC from HD.

I have come to the conclusion that these machines do not accept dnc. Running a whole program from "C" drive is not dnc. To dnc is to send direct from cad/cam, drip feeding if necessary with no limits on file size.
