| I just bought a bridgeport interact 1 mk2 mill with a heidenhain tnc 2500 control. I didn't receive any manuals or schematics with it. According to the seller it is set up to run on 460 vac. I looked in one of the control cabinets and there is an auto transformer with taps for many different voltages from 200-480 volts. It is currently tapped for 460-480. I was wondering if I could just change the taps around for 220-240 and turn the machine on. My only concern is that there may be other transformers that have to be re-tapped... Also, I will be running this on a phase converter, but have no idea what size to use. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks. |
