Anyone use BobCad to program their TorqCut 22? I used the DX-32 post on their website. Here's the issue: I created a program in BobCad and used the Subprograms Option. It created a program with Subprograms but I am new to the TorqCut 22 so I was wondering if I need to create a separate file for each of the subprograms that BobCad produced. In the current file, the subprograms are all contained in one file (see attached). On my EZTrak I can create a main program and call-up each subprogram, which are separate programs. I can then use workshifts to run the same program at different workshift locations on a fixture plate. |

| what you have posted is very similar to what i post from bobcacd to both fanuc and fadal machinees. Besides the fanuc 6M, ive never had problems sending mulitpul programs (main and sub) all at once. The 6m i always have to send them one at a time fwiw, my posts look like % O1234 bal blah M30 O1001 (sub of 1234) M99 O1002 (sub of 1234) M99 % |

In this situation, the Sub's are all contained in the single program that Bob-Cad created. Did you cut the subprograms from the main program and make them into individual programs or leave them in and run it as one single program? My experience has always been to create a main program and call-up the sub's, which are separate files. I thought this was how it was normally done so you have multiple smaller files. The benefits would be 1) instead of having on large file that won't fit onto a floppy disk, you will have several smaller files that can be loaded from more than one disk. And 2) is being able to use multiple Workshifts. If I want to run that part on workshift 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 or just 1 and 2 it is a simple modification to the Main program. |
