Hey all! It's been a while since I posted. I'm about to start retrofitting my second Bpt Series 1 CNC. I have adjusted the clamping on the Erickson Quick Change a few times and in the process, I have to clear out (re-open) the hex on the 10-32 button head screws 'cause they get so beat up. One has a dog point and the other two are dummies. Does anybody have a source for these screws? I'd make them myself, but that little 1/8 dog point takes such a beating they have to be hardened. BTW, I went to the auction preview in Bridgeport when they went out of business years ago, but the stock had already been picked over pretty well. Thanks for any help in directing me to a source. | Thanks guys! George - I have an email in to Kennametal...couldn't find any mention of it on their website. Mactek - They do last a long time, but once it comes time for adjustment (like now) the hex socket is so peened over from the wrench impacting it, it takes me a half an hour just to get them out! I guess this should have been my first clue that they are NOT hardened! I just assumed wrong. Thanks. CD |
